Here is my mix and master of the song.
It ended up sounding more pop oriented than classical, even with a room emulator for additional ambiance. Ah, well. It was a quick mix and master.

Yes, more pop than classic. As the song builds I felt the song lost the story as the vocal got lost.
I would like to hear a more pure natural piano cutting through; own personal taste.
Nice tone overall on elements and nice that you have kept the warmth in the song.
For me the only real distraction to the song is the low end ;the fight between the piano low mids and the sub bass and the low mid bass. I like where this mix is going.
