From Earth to Planet Omega - pauli - 21-05-2014 this was fun. RE: From Earth to Planet Omega - juanjose1967 - 22-05-2014 I've enjoyed listening to this mix. I think that you've done a good job because all instruments sound very good and clear. It is also well balanced in my opinion. The only thing that I would change would be in the beginning after the blast off and the operator voices (1:18 more or less), would be the volume of the instruments. I know that they start increasing their volume little by little but there's a big difference of level between the first two instruments you hear (synth and bass synth). I think that if you lower a little bit the bass synth and with some automation go slowly reaching it's regular level throughout the song, it would be more effective and would give the song a better mood of setting off on a wonderful journey RE: From Earth to Planet Omega - pauli - 22-05-2014 thanks for listening and your thoughts. I agree with you on your suggestion and I'm also hearing some other things that could be a little better... one of the snares isn't loud enough to stand on its own and the bass instruments are arguing... a lot. Lol my artistic goal was to have that recurring synth line sounding very distant and the bass jarringly, shockingly present... but perhaps I overdid it? RE: From Earth to Planet Omega - juanjose1967 - 23-05-2014 I think that both bass and synth have the right level in the song. It's just in the beginning what I was talking about |
