Nothing really crazy, just some EQ and some compression. Pretty easy song to mix.

We had similar approach to this song - except for mid range in the second key track (pad) . I took most of it out! You did not
I think it would help but I might be wrong Still excellent mix I think - one of the best here.

Much of what I did was in the vocals, where my main goal was to have them more pop-centric. I hate to say it, but I used Justin Beiber as a reference in the vocal tracks. For the pads and such, not much was done, as I typically don't mess with the pads. The bass, at least to me, wasn't hitting and blending very well, so I added a low end fattener, but that's about it. The whole song took 4 plugins to mix and 2 to master (mix was SSL-G, OneKnob Phattener, Slate Fresh Air and Kramer PIE on the master bus).
