Mikeaela Davis - Home In The Country - NewtonThomas - 12-07-2023 7/12/2023 10:30 AM First pass - almost no automation ![]() Sometimes it's nice to work with just a couple of tracks. Ricks2006 made some good points. Was using a convolution reverb that was hard to control the tail unless you gate it. Switched it out to something more controllable. Worked on the BG vocal eq's a bit. I totally appreciate that Telefunken releases these tracks for us to play with but I wish they would use pop screens on the vocal mics. There's been so many tracks with nasty plosives. NT RE: Mikeaela Davis - Home In The Country - Ricks2006 - 12-07-2023 Eq wise, this is a nice track Thomas. voice has a nice saturated reverb but with a bit of a longer then necessary tail. IMO Automation is awesome dude jeje. I can hear you either added a whole kick track(for support), or automated "some" parts of it. Which is awesome. Like on 2:36, the original kick track clips the limiter hard. I can hear you either automated the volume or automated an EQ with either a low-shelve or low-cut. Either way, It sounds good! |
