"I'm about to Anderson Paak, oh yeah" - Marty - 22-05-2023

I guess they did this after the live tracking at Telefunken. I don't know all that was overdubbed, but the vocals for sure. Clean tracks. Great track with an Anderson Paak reference in second verse.  Tongue

I had an initial issue with the overheads. The left C12 was either a lot brighter than the right. I tried to match them EQ-wise and hi-passed them a lot. Basically just used them for cymbals and the top of the snare. The other weird thing is -- I wonder if the drummer has his hi-hats on his right -- the ride was in the left OH and the hi-hat was in the right OH (drummer perspective). I doubled checked during some tom fills and sure enough, left to right (rack to floor). Anyway, it worked out.

I was wrong about the lyrics. I found them on the internet. The line is "Equal parts a young Mraz and Anderson .Paak"
