UPDATE: my mix for Brian C Cai Fei Hong: 'Your Star' - dr_west - 27-11-2022

Here is my mix for Brian C Cai Fei Hong: 'Your Star'

Thanks for this resource!

After listening to several other post, I realize that my mix has a fe issues.

1. It seams very quiet. When I was working on this one, I used a VU meter to ensure the sound intensity was not in the red (no greater than 0 dB scale).

2. I had difficulty making the vocals sound "good." The track signal on the lead has a lot of "background hiss." Sounds like the AC in on in the background. I tried to EQ this out, but if I cut too much, the vocals where too dark sounding to me.

Any feedback will help!

UPDATE!
I went through the tracks, and cut out several unwanted frequencies from each. This allowed me to raise the overall volume. Also added some reverb and delay (probably a bit too much).  Big Grin
