A "nightly" attempt to mix this song - Morning Crash - 16-04-2014 So, this is mine version Lovely song, and the quality of records made it easier to balance, it was more beginner friendly than the first song i mixed here. Comparing to the few mixes here i checked out it's definitly less compressed + limited at bus. Also i'm not sure if the vocal processing is most matching, and if the rhythm acoustic guitar didn't turned out a little too harsh, so... yeah. Feedback very welcome, also how it sounds on full stereo, cause it was mixed entirely on headphones. RE: A "nightly" attempt to mix this song - NosMos - 20-05-2014 Not a bad mix. The vocals sound nice but you seem to have boosted the guitar around 500hz making it quite honky sounding - not harsh at all: I would add more top end to the guitar. RE: A "nightly" attempt to mix this song - Morning Crash - 20-05-2014 Oh, You're right i guess with the guitar, but now i hear it has one yet greater problem, it's harshly overdriven . As i'll gain some experience i'll surely revisit my mixes, hopefully now, as my finals are coming to an end, i'll have more time for it . |
