Silona's 'Learning How To Fly' - Glider Mix - glider - 07-08-2022
Okay, so - hopefully anyone on this board sees this one. My first mix in a few years.
Anyways, after hearing the preview for this one - I wasn't a fan of the bombastic toms and drum filled intro + first verse and bridge. When I stripped it all back, I was surprised how much more wider and expansive the song sounded.
So, my mix is a more ambient, dream pop take on the track, with the visual tone of a "wide sky ethereal ballad" in mind. Yes, there's "some" reverb. The drums later in the track are also stripped back a bit and reworked to fit the version I compiled. Any feedback would be appreciated.

EDIT: Mix #3 uploaded - Final mix for now. Dialed back the reverb on the vocals. More 'radio friendly' version.
