Glenn McPhee - A Sailor Once More - filipandrei - 29-12-2021

Found it tricky to mix, especially the drums. I would love to have these on separate tracks.

Any comments and feedback are always welcomed

Cheers

Greetings,

Can you describe the musical intention, the musical message, the story you were trying to convey?

Hey RandomUser Smile,

It's a quite an interesting question, and keeping it short, all I tried is to emphasize the vocal line and the wind instruments, giving it a "country" vibe, with acoustic guitars and drums being the main rhythm drive. The bagpipe theme and the vocal line keeps me thinking of an Irish song, so I wanted to make it sound like one by keeping the acoustic instruments up front!

Cheers
