Santi Vega - Ying Yang - billabong68 - 25-12-2021 Hi, my key thoughts and processing on this: - I upsampled the stem to 88kHz. Not sure how much that does, but wanted to try that out. - Transient dampening was first step, 2dB to get the pluckiness reduced. Neutron 3 Transient Shaper (very transparent) - Two dips at 100 and 200 to remove masks (PSP Infiniti Strip) - Opto Compressor with fast release (same) Sends - Widener (stereo delay) as a send - 3 reverbs on send to shape the space: Ambience (M7 small wooden room), Chamber (M7 ambience chamber B) and Plate (Abbey Road plate C). Buss processing - Ducking the reverb with a side chain compressor - Stereo widening - Bus compression: Logic Opto and Soundspot Cyclone in series (1.5 dB each) to glue things together I would love to hear how other people processed this! |
