Jack Hutcheson - The Psychopath mix and master - brandon_parker - 07-11-2021
Here is my mix and master of the song.
-Drums are pretty straightforward. Just some samples to beef them up a bit.
-Bass was reamped using a Ampeg SVT-58 through a SM-58 and a Yamaha Subkick. Then, just use a channel strip.
-Guitars were stock. Used a clipper, some EQ and a limiter.
-Strings was a doubler, some EQ and a stereo spacer.
Mastering was some EQ, some compression, a limiter, some saturation and tried to get it under -13.5 LUFS. I used Apocalyptica as a reference track.

Hi brandon_parker,
for my taste your mix is little bit too dark and here and there a bit muddy and boxy.
and it feels a bit small not wide enough.
The Bass Git could work out better it goes under a bit in your mix.
But overall you did a nice balanced mix on this.
