Never Let You Go_Go_Brian C Fai Hong - Faders_up - 19-09-2021

Catchy song, lot's of interesting keyboard patches. I like the vocal synth parts.

Vers 2: More attention to bottom end. Louder print.

Hey Scott!

- I feel like the intro, also the second verse is a bit drowning in reverb. Could be just the reverb level though.
- In the hook-part, for me, the kick doesn't punch enough, I miss some impact of the drums. Im my mix for instance I worked a lot with sidechaining triggered by the kick, even if the producer already did it with some sounds. It's powerful but also something to be careful with
- Overall I like the sound, the previous two things are the things I really would try to focus on and see what's next then.

Of course just based on my taste. Hope it helps! Have fun!

- Dan

Nice mix man Smile like the creative sounding keys. Drop could be more brutal for me.

Thanks guys. I haven't done a lot of side dance mix chain stuff but I'm going to check it out. I just went for an overall balance keeping the vocal as the focal point. I'm going to search some YouTube videos from the people that are doing the dance mixes. I really like the sound of Dua Lipa's records.
