Two Mixes! 1ws All Hands Lost Mix - aftercutrecords - 01-09-2021
Hey y'all! Another "before and after" mix comparison.
Last time (2015) I spent many hours on the mix and I don't think it turned out very well.
This time I spent about an hour on it and I think it's roughly where I want it. This is a rather challenging track so I mainly focused on maintaining the energy of the original while also driving it in creative and interesting ways.
It may not be perfect, but I quite like the song overall!
(For the record, that glitching in the vocals was done by me many years ago, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that it was more fun that way!)
Practice Mix is from 2015 (when this track came out, I believe).
2021 1ws mix is from ... today
