On the Line Mix - j_ohnny - 05-10-2012 Here is my go at mixing this song. I confined myself to LCR panning and EQ'd almost entirely using cuts. I did a pseudo master of it as well. I noticed when referencing Mike Seniors mix that mine is missing some of the body that is in his mix. I tried a boost around 350 to 600hz on the stereo mix but it brought out more honk than warmth. Any suggestions would be appreciated. RE: On the Line Mix - Peacesound - 24-02-2013 Hi Johnny This is a nice mix. You know ...less is more sometimes. Mike Senior skills is a lifetime learning and we are all learning... Knowing is not always fun...but learning should be fun. Good job ! Your mix is smooth. RE: On the Line Mix - Juraj - 16-07-2013 Nice mix, mate. Maybe improve the stereo balance. It seems you've got lots of weight on sites but not much in the centre in contrast. Good job though. Chees RE: On the Line Mix - bmullen - 16-07-2013 Really nice! I agree with Juraj that the only improvement I can suggest would be to soften the panning a bit. |
