First try on mixing here - thepatapouf - 25-07-2021 Hey guys! I could use your opinion on this song's mix. I didn't took too long to do it, it is actually my first try on reviewing a mix of my own. I didn't mix for a while so I am quite happy to do it again. I had to goals with this song : - Try not to overprocess things. I tend to add to many effects (compression and reverb are my enemies). Is it to much? Not enough? - Easy on the high frequencies : I use to have way to much high frequencies on the highs (I suspect an hearing loss around 7K). I tried to use reference tracks but to be honest, it is not a genre that I am used to mix so it was kinda hard to have a suitable ref tracks. What do you think of the tonal balance? I am sure there are plenty of ways to improve this mix so I am eager to read your comments Thanks! RE: First try on mixing here - Roy - 25-07-2021 You didn't upload the file.
