That's how I got to Memphis from Nashville - jeffssoloband - 04-06-2021

I spent a lot of time tuning the vocals, while trying to maintain a natural feeling. Pitch was all over the place, so not sure if I succeeded. I think I may have overdone it on the de-esser though. The whole thing is probably a bit over-compressed, but I was trying to even things out. Anyway, hmu with comments, questions, or concerns. Thanks for listening!

Update: rev1 added after feedback

Hi Jeff! Good job man. Maybe (for me) having the drums more present would be even more great.
Keep it up!

Hey Jeff,

I can definitely tell the work you put in on the tuning, good job!

However this mix is absolutley drenched in reverb and compression. I would recommend that you remove all the effects and come back with fresh ears and a reference in hand.

Cheers,
Lukas Angel

Thanks for the feedback Unknow & Lukas. I boosted the drums a bit, and dialed back the reverb. It seems a little better now  Smile
