Dark Ride - Burning Bridges mix - daimonbagdon - 24-05-2021 Hello, here's my mix of Burning bridges. I'm still a beginner at mixing. Feel free to leave me a response on where I could improve. Thank you. RE: Dark Ride - Burning Bridges mix - mikej - 31-08-2021 Hi! I have to add the caveat that I'm far from expert in this genre and I find it challenging to mix (I'm working at it though). Blitzzz of course, and also aftercutrecords are more your guys for this stuff I would say. They've both certainly been very helpful with advice for me anyway. To my ears I think this is a really good mix. It doesn't sound like a beginner mix at all. Yeah - overall balance, frequency balance, width, panning, etc all seems pretty much spot on to me. The only things I really picked up on (I'm using the library mix as a benchmark here) is that the mix could perhaps be a little brighter - something like a 2db shelf from around 1.5k ish I think gets in the ballpark. You can also maybe hit the final limiter a bit harder - for me I think something around 7-8 LUFS I feel would bring the mix together nicely for this genre if that is something you would go for. Thats all. Great job, keep it up! I look forward to hearing more mixes. Cheers!
