going to the moon - a scientist mix - NiceDuck - 09-05-2021

Really enjoyed this mix.
Went a bit radical on the guitars, 40db of high end boost on some tracks.
Sometimes huge amount of compression, sometimes none at all - had fun playing with the dynamics.
Mostly relying on automation on the vocals, to get every nuance out of it, especially on the end of long passages, occasional reverb and delay throws included.
I've added an 808 clap and an occasional tambourine on the choruses to get it up a bit more.
Hope it still meets your taste overall.

Best regards

thanks for mixing my song! Smile
that kick is nice and phat and huge. i love it.
i really like how you played with the compression. it was tastefully done. over compressing can be very dangerous but i feel you got great control of it.
great job! Smile

Thank you for your appreciation!
By revisiting the mix I really notice how the overcompression almost gives this ASMR-like feeling to the track Big Grin
Best Regards!
