BluesBastards_LightsOut mix by artension - artension - 02-03-2021 my mix RE: BluesBastards_LightsOut mix by artension - NiceDuck - 09-03-2021 First of, the Balance is great! Nothing overwhelming or out of place. Every track has its dedicated spectrum, so it is easy to hear all the tracks in detail - amazing job here too! I also really like how upfront the midrange is without being honky or harsh. I perceive a very focussed midrange in the overall picture, unfortunately to the detriment of the low- and high end. Maybe you can try adding more low-end thump (Kick, Bass) and some air in the highest highs (Snare, Vocals, Overheads) ifyou want to counteract this. I also miss a bit attack on the drums, here you can try to let the transients though with a longer attack time on a compressor. Regards Nice Duck |
