Strobe - Maya (Ghost Radio Mix/Master) - Ghost Radio - 07-01-2021 Hi, this is my first post in this forum, i liked this track and tried to make it sound radio ready. Any feedback is appreciated. RE: Strobe - Maya (Ghost Radio Mix/Master) - Blackcapaudio - 20-10-2021 Hey, really enjoyed this mix! I like the more natural sounding vocal and I like your kick sound too! The harmony vocals coming in on the chorus was also a cool blend, gave it a good lift - beware the backing vocals go out of tune however which can be a bit jarring (it’s a problem in my own mix too). Also this vocalist has a problem in the verses of making s sounds that sound like “sh” - try and de-ess some of that between 2-4K I think. Helps with the clarity, and your vocal is sounding good already, that’s just a small fix. The sidechaining of the droney bass in the chorus is cool but it’s a little much considering the beat isn’t four to the floor. It gives it a strange pumpy vibe rather than a bounce. It’s a bit overpowering, let the kick and snare drive this tune rather than the bass. I also missed the toms in the chorus, they’re a little buried under the bass as well and are a cool feature to the track. Good work though and welcome! Great first post, onwards to the radio! |
