Mixed by BelMix - BelMix - 22-12-2020 Hi, my first real mix project(and post on the forum) - something to keep me busy and warm during the winter holidays. Like many here, most time spent trying to get the voice decent. Feedback appreciated. Edit : I was not happy, so added a second version - worked on vocal (clarity - reverb - noise), horns (positioning + reverb), keys at end + various other minor tweaks. Btw : I am at the moment limited to mixing using headphones, was able to do just a couple of checks on speakers Best, BelMix RE: Mixed by BelMix - Damian Oakes - 24-12-2020 A bit lo-fi, but I really like the balance you got, and the vocal sounds cool. Good job. RE: Mixed by BelMix - BelMix - 24-12-2020 Hi, thanks for the feedback - I agree with the lo-fi sound, I am trying to find a balance there which is quite difficult. Anyway, added a 3rd version which I like more - enhanced clarity : I did not have to change much, just a small bit of EQing. |
