Pray For The Rain master - wibley - 11-11-2020
Here's my master of Pray For The Rain. There's was a few things bugging me about the mix (and even more with the original master): the vocals sounded quite nasal and disconnected from the music, particularly in the chorus, also the lead guitar was jutting out of the mix too much. Despite there being a lot of sub information, the bass felt weak but also sounded undefined and cluttered, same with the low mids, so used some gentle dynamic eq to even this out in places. I tried to respect the mix as much as possible and think I managed to keep the relative balances more or less intact.
Any feedback always appreciated
