my take on Piers - Bruno Corrêa - 31-10-2020

No drum samples on this one. The snare ended up sounding like a typical eighties one with a big fat low end, classic heavy metal comes to my mind. Guitar recording is pretty good once you set phases correlations right.

The playing ain't great, really. Double kicks are sloppy, bass player struggles to keep up in spots, the singer is not very energetic and tuned and so on. But, as far as I've decided to go (not editing, not tuning), I'm happy about how it came out!

Whaddya think? : )

Hooray! Listening after a while I think it's a somewhat boomy and the cymbals are a bit hyped in the higher end. Won't remake it for now, though, it's solid enough. : )

Thank you, JEMixer!
