my take on XXXV - Bruno CorrĂȘa - 06-10-2020

The vocal is lower in volume in my mix compared to most other versions but it made sense to me. Way out of line?

This is my first time around this forum, made for fun. I've never mixed any metal, in spite of listening to it since teen years. I do orchestral, jazz, world music, etc.

I've augmented the snare sound with samples. The floor tom sounded like the mike was touching the drumhead or something, so that was completely replaced (rack tom was also replaced for consistency, even if it sounded quite nice originally). I didn't go through the trouble of checking every replaced hit, so bear with me if something is off.

Would like to read your feedback, thanks in advance!
