Limited to be about as loud as the original mix
I did need some samples for the kick, snare, and toms. The original tracks had about 80% of what I wanted, like the snare I thought had good bottom end and mids, but too much bleed for the top to be that usable. So the samples were additive and just filling in what eq/gating couldn't give me.
The rest of the mix went well, just took some time to manage what tracks were out of sync, and what vocal tracks contained both lead and background parts and then organizing all that stuff.
