Johnny Lokke- Whispers To A Scream - DGarner - 31-12-2013

This is my 2nd mix on Johnny's songs really enjoy these great metal.

kudos to Johnny for sharing his music.

this is my 9th day mixing on reaper still lots to learn but any feedback would be great!!

Hi D:

Not bad at all. My suggestions would be beefing up the bass a bit (without stepping all over the guitars), finding the snare (it's lost in the mix), and the vocals are kind of jumping up and down in the mix so they need some smoothing out.

Gotta love what you did with the guitars. Seems many people are handling them better than I did. Blush Nice, sharp sound with good stereo separation yet still has good solid fullness.

Maybe just a tad more reverb on the vocals than my taste...

Only major complaint is the abrupt ending; I think letting that last cymbal crash trail off would sound more natural.
