Digital Humans - Reletlessly Remix and Master - brandon_parker - 29-07-2020
Here is my mix and master of the song.
-Drums kind of felt out of place, so to add ambiance, I added some modern hip hop drums and claps to give it a more Daft Punk feel to it.
-The other instruments were pretty straightforward. Nothing but a bit of EQ and some light compression.
-Vocals are a whole bunch of effects, especially the background vocals. I tried to use at least some autotune to it, but I couldn't figure out the right attack and release ratios, so that was scrapped. EQ, compression, delay, reverb and some tape saturation is what I ended up using.
-Mastering was really easy. Just a bit of EQ and a limiter.
-This was the shortest mix and master I've done, at just under 2 hours. That's got to be a record, right?
