Hey, lovely recording and song! Since it sounded so good to start with and vs my endresult i think i will have to say i think i overdid this one. I might come back with second version, lovely production though.

Yeah, I'll agree, you may have overdone it. But that's ok. Sometimes you have to go too far and work back. While I don't think the choices you made fully fit the song they are some cool sounds, if a bit harsh at times. I'd say give it another shot and let the production do more speaking for itself.

Yeah, I think the guitars and vocals are a bit on the bright/harsh side for me. I do like the idea of the vocal distortion though. It occurred to me that you could try and blend in the vocal distortion as a parallel effect? Something like that might sound really good I think?
