Angelo Boltini: 'This Town'-Yoshi-Mix - Yoshi Nishikawa - 18-06-2020

My first impressions.
It was difficult to create on my incompetent computer
I decided to try and work as hard as I could.
This is the limitation of my computer.

2nd   Roy advice version

Thanks for listening.

The vocal feels a bit buried at first then seems to jump in volume at the 2nd verse. At times it's painfully loud.

I'd say if there are too many tracks, simplify the session. You probably don't need the extra drum room tracks. One mic for the acoustics would probably be fine. Same with the strings and cellos. The background vocals could probably be bounced down to stereo tracks for each part. So could the strings and cellos. That would get you down to 50 tracks or so and ease up on both your computer power but also your brain power and you can just focus on the song.

Sort out the vocal issue first though.

Hope that helps.

Hi Roy

Thanks for the comment.

I bought a new PC!
I can work with this level of channel without any problems.
But I haven't been able to migrate all the plugins
The vocal thing, I'll learn to split the track into three parts and tweak and automate it.
I hope to make many more songs in the future!

Thank you.
