Simphony of Silence, trying to get the most energy out of this one :-) - Lunassyd - 20-05-2020

Hello! Really an amazing song to mix for hours. I found a lot of problems trying to deal with the vocals balance in this mix, since it was too low or too loud compared to the rest of the tracks in a matter of 0.X dBs. Might be probably because I wanted the low end to shine so badly and I didn't know how to find a better gain staging at this point. I focused more on bass kick and snare energy, that's what this song asks for in my opinion Smile

Please don't hesitate leaving a comment telling me whatever flaw you may find, specially if it is very noticeable. Rock/Metal/Grunge mixes aren't as easy to balance as other genres, I find distortion/amp emulations for the guitars is a must but it can be overkill if it isn't controlled properly.

Hi Lunassyd! Mix is pretty good, a little de-esser or a control on the high frequencies can be very helpful!
Good Mix Btw!
