Wires - Red On You mix and master - brandon_parker - 18-05-2020

Attached is my mix and master of the song.

-Very straightforward song. Nothing a bit of EQ and compression wouldn't fix.
-Sample on the kick drum. To be honest...it sounded like ass.
-The original mix was super muddy. This added overall clarity without sounding too "pop" because it's metal.
-Mastering added even more clarity and some light saturation for that old school metal effect.
-There is some clipping in the right channel, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out where it was coming from...so it stayed.  Confused

I tried to listen it loud and the symbilants almost shaved all of my hair that I have been growing during the quarantine. Thanks!
Btw what do you consider as the "orginal mix"? The one that band has released?

The one posted on the main site. I thought it was a bit too low end heavy and I tried to brighten it up with some light 10k (I think it was 1.5db shelf gain? I'd have to check on that.) during mastering.

That's interesting, I consider the orginal mix as too bright and painful to listen to

Hm...maybe it does, but the bass is a little overwhelming that I couldn't focus on the high end of that track when I listened back to it. *shrug*
