Living Lie in Mixbus32c - suicide0 - 13-05-2020 Here my mixdown of living lie done in mixbus 32c The second one is with some corrections.. Less 5Khz to the cymbals, verse gui a little quiter but a bit more room, less limiting, a little less parallel compression to the drums, some litte changes to EQing. RE: Living Lie in Mixbus32c - ThomasStevenson - 15-05-2020 Hi Thanks for mixing our track and sharing ! Here are a few observations as I listen through. - the verse guitar level vs the lead vocal feels loud - especially in mono - kick track needs time aligned with the kit - like your snare sound - nice - consider a little more top or 200Hz to give it a touch more weight - feels pretty heavily limited - hearing some distortion at times - even feels like the mix drops out briefly occasionally - consider removing some 4-5kHz from the cymbals - they feel a little high in the balance and masking the vocal a bit in the higher frequencies - like your general balance of the guitars and bass Thanks again for mixing and sharing - hope this helps ! Thomas RE: Living Lie in Mixbus32c - suicide0 - 16-05-2020 Thanks a lot for spending your time to listening and for your analyses. i will give it another try later.
