still flyin - kRiXeL - 13-05-2020 hey guys. this is my second upload. i enjoyed the mix done by blitzzz very much, though i found it a bit lower-mid heavy. also i do think that this lower-mid heaviness will translate much better. my aim was to achieve a bit more low-frequency extension to make it sound a little bit more modern... i used a little bit of outboard. the main vocals went through a tube channelstrip with pretty heavy processing and i sent 6 stems (drums, gits, bass, synths, mainvox, backvox) to a summing mixer. actually i´m a broadcast guy and i´m quite familiar with creating dynamic mixes but this time i tried to get as loud as possible without squashing everything to death.. tell me what you think. any feedback will be much appreciated. cheers! |
