More of an "Experimental" Take on Jazz Mixing - VictorBaccili - 01-05-2020

Hello!

I'd like to share with you my first real mixing exercise.

Since the first time I heard it, I loved this theme and this interpretation of it in general.
So I got really inspired, specially by the use of synths in the beginning, and the beautiful tone of the guitar, to do a kind of more experimental mix, compared to what we usually hear in Jazz.

I played a little bit with reverb and pan, in order to create an atmosphere somewhat more ethereal and otherworldly, but still aiming for a predominantly warm, soothing and compelling sound.

I'd be glad to know your impressions and, perhaps, some advices about it, if you will.

Thank you very much!
