Bought some new plugins, the Slate stuff, and gave it a whirl on this track. Really pleased with what I was able to make them do.
I know this isn't a Chris Lord-alge style track, but I watched a few videos and got inspired to try a few different CLA style things with this track. Stuff like sending multiple things, like BGVs and keys, to the drum room verb I set up, and a few different drum techniques.
I enjoyed the variety of mics but probably only used like 1/3rd of the different mics....I think that was the point? To show that their mics can compare to top end stuff? Sorry I didn't look at the mixing tips, Mike.
Anyways, I digress. I had a blast with this one. Let me know what you think.
