dad's glad (he's not an acoustic act anymore) - death by laser - 22-04-2020 i was going to tune some of the vocals, particularly in the last line of the verses, and a few in the chorus, but i didn't.... firstly, coz the acoustic guitar bled onto the vocal track, and it would have destroyed the tuning... secondly, coz the dissonance between the vocal and the background technically works.... i don't know what kind of chords they are... probably something diminished 9th, or whatever... but, they create tension, and the lyrics to this are tense.... i left the drums as a 16 bar simple kik, snare, shaker drum loop.... no need to get fancy with this, as it would have taken away from the instrumental (which is also very simple) i hope it pleases the trolls. |
