My first mix on Reaper - Kun - 19-04-2020

Hi, I made this as a training mix with a new setup using reaper and a whole lot a cool features this software has. Of course i'm not using only stock plugins (might be a cool exercice though).
Also i used Civil War by Gun's N Roses as a Reference, but kinda stepped away from it eventually.

Please enjoy, and comment if you feel so Smile

Cheers

-Watch your levels on the snare. It sounds like the bot side is a bit too loud against the top side.
-The filter levels were okay. Try to automate a bit more on that end.
-The Hammond organ inclusion sounded nice. Smile
-The bass sounded a bit thin. There's a ton of things to do with just those two tracks, such as sidechains and reamping. Just watch your HPF. Too much and the bass sounds really thin.

On an unrelated note, I, too, use Reaper. There are so many cool stuff you can do, some of which was taught to me by some great producers. Let me know if you need a run down on turning a drum track to samples, sidechain compression and the like. Big Grin
