Yet another mix - mlacons - 12-04-2020

So I'm an old school guy who mostly mixes acoustic music. I though this would be a fun lock down project. I'm about 3 hours into it. I probably won't go any further.
No samples, no edits. Just eq, compression, mix and a few routing things.
I wanted it sound and feel like a loud basement show from my youth.
Mixed on ATH-ANC23 earbuds. I was playing with the dynamics of the orchestral key parts. It was fun. Thanks for sharing your tracks.

I'm looking forward to some genre specific feedback. Always interesting to hear through another's ears.

I felt a bit more crack to the snare would be a good thing.

Sounds wild and bombastic! Lots of scoop though. Seems to suffer from 40hz to 150hz with a lot of conflict between stuff, and there's a peak at about 2k somewhere that makes it a little hard to focus on stuff. It could be a little more evenly EQ'ed. And the Compression goes nuts around 2 minutes in haha. But overall, I like how roomy the drums are and I actually quite like the guitar tones.
