All Souls Moon - James May - davidpaulpaige - 30-11-2013

Just really liked the vibe of this one... hauntingly humble.
I have recently changed everything about the way I do things. Critiques welcome, even if it is awful.

Anything awful not a good mix! Maybe too much treble. Good job!

Really liked your mixing decisions on this one. Reverb choices were very tasteful, and the instruments were generally well balanced. My only criticism has to do with the drum kit - it seems to either clip a bit or hit the compressor too hard at some points and pump/distort just s little. Works for rock drums, but I don't think it works with this track. Perhaps mixing the kit a little less up front in the mix, or using gentler compression settings would help. But overall very nice!
