Rockshow - greentrombone - 30-11-2013

I attempted this mix of Rockshow during a music tech course earlier this year. I'm new to mixing and audio production, so I welcome any feedback!

Some notes:
  • Male Vox - I used all the tracks - main, double and lower pitched vocal - in a narrow LCR arrangement with the lower pitch in the center
  • Kit - I went for a more acoustic sound, with minimal processing. I figured that since the band uses a live kit instead of samples, perhaps it should be a feature.
  • Bass Sub - Cut it down to just accents, to support the bass & kit and turn it into something of a 'hook'. Also tightened it up with reference to the bass.
  • I also spent a fair bit of time chopping up and arranging female vox, scratch and synth parts.
