SURRENDERING - My first rock mix - vitorrls - 17-03-2020

Hey guys!

Would you care to give me some feedback? I dont have a lot of experience with rock...
Thank you!

Hi dude. Sounds pretty cool!
What I have noticed (my humble own opinion) is that the bass seems to be too gushing in the mix. Left guitar sounds tiny louder than the right one. In general the mix needs more glue between the elements, especially the vocal, which sounds a bit "out" of the contest.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, mate!
What exactly do you mean by gushing?
Any tips on how to achieve the glue you’re missing?

I meant the bass is really imposing in the mix, quite loud compared to the general balance.

Talking about "glue" you could go for more compression and transient shaping (especially on the vocal). Some levels automations needed as well.
