Robert Hammon: 'The Elephant'

RE: Robert Hammon: 'The Elephant' - Lethan - 06-02-2020

Hi Javier,
Good Work, natural sounding tones. The kick drum miss a midrange (its like more suitable for metal sound). I think i only eq bottom mic for this. Mix also feels a bit sterile perhaps a bit of more saturation here and there would help. Besides that it's a weel done jobe. Cheers!

Thank you Lethan, I corrected and improved the mix with some eq and automation. Thank you for listening.

What jumps out at me is the kick and snare. They feel on top of the mix and disconnected from the song. Are they samples? I'm not sure I love the sound of them but maybe mixed back and jelled with the rest of the track the tones would work.

Hey javierpg84,

Nice mix
Kick a bit thin for my taste, sound kinda "sharp".
Personally not a fan of the delay on the vocal, thats subjective though.
Good job! Cheers Smile
