Burning Bridges Master v1 - mcchopp - 19-12-2019 I mixed this before reading your tips and tricks post. That being said upon first listen I heard this having the balance and imaging similar to that of Trivium's "The Sin and the Sentence". However I thought the guitar tone on that album is quite thin, unlike the tracks provided here. The 2nd reference I used was "Cryin Like a Bitch" by Godsmack. Different genre, but I was mainly looking for the overall balance, pucnhiness of drums, and clarity but grittiness of the guitars. Killswitch was another reference I used for guitar tones.
