Keeping it Natural - ErickWeinreich - 15-12-2019 Vocals - These were the hardest for volume control. I used a vocal rider, so EQ, and two light compressors to try to get some volume control without too much automation. Guitar - not much here, just some small EQing and a CLA compressor. didn't want to ruin the realness feel of it too much bass - the headphones I'm using don't pick up too much bass, so I am honestly not sure how it fits in the mix. did the best I could. Everything else I pretty much kept the same, like I said before, I liked the natural feel of this song and didn't want it to feel too processed. P.S. I am fairly new to this whole mixing thing, so any advice or criticism would be awesome! RE: Keeping it Natural - Shul - 15-12-2019 Vocals are good. Just needs more bass overall .. also some clean up on that snare. sounds quite muddy and has very little brightness. |
