As natural as it can get ;) - 110dB - 06-12-2019 Hi all, first post, first upload. As I stumbled on this multitrack, I thought to give it a go. Too bad, they (at Telefunken) didn't consider to place some baffles around the lead singer; man that drum bleed kills me! So, I decided to approach it as a live-mix, and enjoy the insanely loud crash, at lots of places in the mix, as most of you already heard in most mixes, LOL! Enjoy! RE: As natural as it can get ;) - ant10- - 06-01-2020 theres some hum, i think its in the chamber track, that you missed to eq out, like mains hum or something but how did you get the vocals so rich mmh RE: As natural as it can get ;) - 110dB - 10-01-2020 ant10-, thanks! I didn’t even notice the hum, and the chamber track wasn’t barely used. The chain for the lead vocal, from the top of my head was; Neve 1081 pre, 1176 comp, 1081 eq, Ampex Atr-102, and EMT 140 for post. I think I used a GML for the top end, but I have to look into that. RE: As natural as it can get ;) - psnr - 01-05-2020 this is overall good, the only thing I feel is the balance in the last chorus is a bit off - lead vocal is totally overwhelmed. |
