My mix on Japan song - gopener - 08-11-2013

Very interesting song to mix cause of the changes.
Is a tough one too.

Is one part that you hear the tom kicks in and space added on the left side..I will fix it soon, lazy me.

Any suggestions would be welcome, as always.

Thanks for listening.

Workin on this one at mo and thought I might as well hear what you did to it. Sound is great, I still have lot to do with kick snare and toms. Gtrs a bit dark but it works well. Lead vox good and great lvl.
Cello sounds like what it is, an overdub. Maybe because you want it to be so in front, sinkin it mote into the band, maybe shavin holes in guitars with narrow eq to let it through would do the trick.
Choir is too loud for my taste, the music is loud and should be so havin this soft sung choir up hvat lvl just sounds unnatural to me

Very cool mix. The suggestions are my opinion and I dont expect you to agree Big Grin
