Burning Bridges - My Mix - Nick - 26-04-2019
Before you take a listen, I want to say a few things:
- I got more of a power metal sound from this song than a Killswitch Engage metalcore sound. Sounds great regardless.
- For some reason, I found this harder to mix then Hammer Down. I have no idea why since Hammer Down has more tracks and also has synths. That said, I probably spent less time on this song.
- Some of the mixes on the forum were darn good, but I tried making it sound as good as I was able to.I didn’t try anything too experimental or fancy, just polished it mostly.

Thanks! Can you elaborate a bit more on ‘it doesn’t suit the song’? This is the original kick sound, no sample replacements.
