Starnes & Shah: 'Prodigal Son' - Crownoise mix - crownoise - 05-04-2019 hmm okay strange song, not my cup of tea but I tried to make the best out of it. RE: Starnes & Shah: 'Prodigal Son' - Crownoise mix - kapu - 05-04-2019 hi! sounds ok. maybe ease the drums a bit, and also make use of the lowest octave of bass? vocals and guitars sound good. nice work! ^_^ RE: Starnes & Shah: 'Prodigal Son' - Crownoise mix - dsin2000 - 07-04-2019 The vocals might sound a bit too upfront and bright, otherwise it's great, and the guitars is balanced. The bass might need a bit boosting up on the bass frequency and be louder in the mix, since it helps bring the warmth of this track. About the drums: - There's too much high-mid presence on the kick drum, it's not a metal song (which it's appropriate for this high-mid presence), it's a mellow singer-songwriter song, so ease up on that one. - The cymbals seems too harsh and a bit too loud for this song, also ease up on the brightness. - The snare is also too bright, so maybe not too much brightness. At least you tamed the 'annoying' ring on the snare, so great job. RE: Starnes & Shah: 'Prodigal Son' - Crownoise mix - crownoise - 09-05-2019 Hey guys! Thanks for input!! Yeah ahah that snare, omg. |
