The Black Crown- Flames - lu_mfm - 29-03-2019 My take on this awesome song! /,,/ feel free to comment and criticize i'd like to improve what i might be doing wrong and know what i got right. RE: The Black Crown- Flames - displaced - 30-03-2019 Bass is unbalanced compared to other elements - it is obvious. This could be a choice. Great mono translation. I think the drums could get bigger / louder. Did you use any parallel compression? Vocal is present and clear. I'd like to hear / feel more energy from the mix but it is a good mix. RE: The Black Crown- Flames - lu_mfm - 30-03-2019 The bass and the voice felt too loud RE: The Black Crown- Flames - lu_mfm - 01-04-2019 (30-03-2019, 02:47 AM)displaced Wrote: Bass is unbalanced compared to other elements - it is obvious. Yes, the bass was too loud on mix one but this was a mistake, i changed it a lot on mix 2 and now it feels like it blends a bit better. I did use parallel comp on the drums but not a lot, maybe they could use more punch. Thanks again for your input, Happy mixing. |
