North To Alaska - All The Same - Liquid - 31-01-2019 North To Alaska - All The Same RE: North To Alaska - All The Same - Zbat - 20-02-2019 Hey Liquid, Awesome mix, it's punchy and clear, the vocals are great and sit well in the mix. One thing I could say is the snare I think was already very powerful and treated without changing anything (sample) but it feels like it's going through compression or a limiter again to get even more impact which may be really cool but (maybe I'm mistaken) there's such a powerful BANG that you hear the compression straight away which makes it unnatural a bit, it may have to do with the attack which may be a bit too fast? -> This one I noticed more during the calmer part of the song with the snare pattern. The kick has a lot of attack, it's snappy, so it may be a bit too loud (if you want to keep it snappy) or maybe you can blend it more into the mix and add some low end a bit in the EQ or add a second kick with more 50-60Hz? Hope this helps! Thanks for sharing! Quentin |
